EdS, MA, LMHCA – Clinical Associate
Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
Molly Bright, EdS, MA, LMHCA is a licensed mental health counselor associate who works with children and adolescents. Molly also provides coaching and support to parents navigating school systems so that they can best support and advocate for their student with special education, 504, or behavioral health needs. With over 20 years of experience as a school psychologist and school counselor, Molly brings a wealth of knowledge about and experience with a variety of behavioral health and learning challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, learning disabilities and autism.
Molly’s style is relaxed, genuine and collaborative and she employs a number of evidenced based strategies to help clients manage stress, improve relationships, create change, and build resilience. Her approach to counseling varies depending on the needs and presenting issues of the client. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness practices. Molly also uses expressive arts and play therapy approaches in her work with children and adolescents which can be especially helpful for those who are less responsive to traditional “talk therapy”.

She has served on the Professional Education Advisory Board for School Psychology and has taught graduate level counseling courses at Seattle University. In her early professional life, Molly worked with children and adolescents being treated on the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
