Licensed Psychologist
Jennifer Rough, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adolescents and adults. Her practice is rooted in evidence-based principles, drawing upon her training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness-based therapies. She values person-centered care, and tailors her approach to fit the specific needs of her clients. She strives to help people embrace their challenges with compassion and awareness, and to move toward personal growth and valued living.
Dr. Rough earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Vermont. She completed her pre-doctoral internship training and postdoctoral fellowship training at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System, helping Veterans with PTSD, chronic illness, and complex emotional problems.
Dr. Rough provides specialized clinical services for seasonal affective disorder (SAD; winter depression) and sleep disruption. She has extensive research and clinical training in SAD and chronobiology (24-hour body clock).
