Seattle Psychology is committed to supporting our local and professional communities by hosting professional meetings, partnering with other community organizations, and contributing annually to local charitable organizations.
Healthy communities are the foundation of healthy lives. At Seattle Psychology we consider health as an individual and a collective concern. Communities provide the basis for connection and offer opportunities for shared purpose and meaning. Where collective health is the focus, “upstream” interventions can support health and wellness while preventing serious and potentially chronic conditions.
We are committed to engaging in this “upstream” work by:
- Supporting our local communities by offering innovative prevention resources
- Hosting trainings, events, professional and public service meetings in our dedicated group room
- Partnering with public health, non-profit and community-based health organizations
- Donating a portion of our profits to local charitable community groups each year
Community Partnership
We are actively involved in partnering with other groups in our community. These partners include: A Positive Alternative, Eastside Psychological Services, Seattle Children’s Hospital, University of Washington, the Center for Ethical Leadership, the Fremont Community Therapy Project (FCTP), the Washington State Psychological Foundation (WSPF), the Whidbey Institute, Public and Private Schools in the greater Seattle area, and Primary Medical Care and Psychiatric Clinics.
