Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
Asha Madsen-Humeniuk, PsyD, is a licensed mental health counselor associate who works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Asha adapts her therapy to each individual and utilizes several therapeutic approaches including: person-centered, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), strength-based, family systems, emotion focused therapy (EFT), and EMDR. Asha views therapy as a journey for an individual in which she assists individuals on their journey by providing a non-judgmental, respectful, and safe environment for people to explore, process, and share.
Asha received her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington and has been working in the mental health field since 2007. Asha has worked in a variety of clinical settings including: psychiatric centers, schools, foster care, and naturopathic clinics.
