Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
Amy Sandow, LICSWA/LMHCA/SUDPT, is an associate therapist and social worker who works with adults, couples and families through a secure telehealth platform. She offers a private and flexible array of appointments. She works with several different evidenced-based approaches in order to provide treatment that is tailored to each person on an individual level. She provides a safe, supportive space for individuals to process and explore their feelings and beliefs. Amy strives to work with the person through compassion and understanding. She views therapy as an active partnership, she assists people in identifying any issues they may be suffering from, while building their skills in compassion and self-acceptance. She is passionate about removing any uncertainties surrounding mental health treatment and improving access for anyone seeking mental health care.
Amy earned her Master’s in Addiction Studies from Eastern Washington University in 2020 and a master’s in social work also from Eastern Washington University in 2021. Upon graduation she worked with the Department of Corrections practicing mental health as well as addiction counseling. From there she began working with the telehealth platform working as an associate therapist. She recently completed training in EMDR and is excited to offer this modality along with CBT, DBT and a multitude of addition modalities. She is passionate about learning and expanding the services she is able to offer.
